Cynthia Shore




Cynthia focused on marketing and communications early on in her professional career. Since 1992 she has been devoted to government relations and public affairs. Cynthia ran a provincial environment commission, consulted to government agencies and to the private sector, rose to the position of British Columbia vice president in a leading national government relations firm before joining Patrick in 2001. She is now a partner at the pre-eminent strategic communications firm The Progressive Group.


Cynthia provides analyses of political affairs, communication strategies and strategic advice.  She works to protect and enhance business interests for a wide range of companies in waste management, renewable electricity, the environment, tourism, publishing, transportation, communications, consumer products and energy. Cynthia is results oriented and has an excellent understanding of how business interests intersect with the public, labour, the media and most importantly, government.


As a provincially and federally registered lobbyist, Cynthia is extremely engaged in all aspects of the policy development process from stakeholder engagement through to legislative initiatives. Cindy is an active volunteer in her community.
